- Morning Preparations
- Take a holy bath, wear clean or new clothes (preferably red/yellow/green sarees).

- Place an idol or image of Gauri Devi (Parvati).
- Use a kalash (pot) with water, mango leaves, and coconut for the ritual.
- Offerings
- Offer 5 types of fruits, 16 types of sweets, paan (betel leaves), supari (areca nut), bangles, sindoor, and flowers (especially red or pink).
- Prepare and offer Mangala Gauri Naivedya – like puran poli, kheer, coconut-based dishes.
